Library Hours for November

Mark your calendars! The library will be open on Saturday the 14th. Normal hours are 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. 

The library will be open on Monday and Tuesday of the Thanksgiving Recess, though only from 8- to 5 p.m.

Community Invited to John Hope Franklin Annual Reconciliation Dinner

The seminary will purchase up to 20 tickets for the John Hope Franklin Annual Reconciliation Dinner on November 19. The dinner is at 6:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Cultural Center in Tulsa. Please let Mary McGilvray (mary.mcgilvray@ptstulsa.edu) know if you would like to attend. We’d love to have a strong seminary presence at this event.

Miroslav Volf to Speak in Tulsa

Dr. Miroslav Volf, Henry B. Wright Professor of Systematic Theology at Yale Divinity School and founding director of the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, will be presenting two lectures in Tulsa: 

• Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m., "Great Expectations: What Should We Expect from Life?"at Menig Recital Hall in the Lorton Performing Center (550 S. Gary Place).

 • Thursday, Nov. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., "Do Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?" at Saint John's Episcopal Church (4200 S. Atlanta Place). RSVP: 918-741-7381 or smethven@sjtulsa.org  Suggested lunch donation is $5 on the day of the lecture.
